Maui: Haleakala National Park Sunrise Tour

Before you book
- Pickup is from hotels and condos between about 1:50 and 3:20 am, depending on the month. The listing names no pickup areas, and you must email the operator at least 72 hours ahead to confirm your time and place.
- You need no sunrise reservation of your own (as of October 2026): Skyline is on the park's list of sunrise tour operators. The group watches from the summit area, and the day runs about 9 to 10 hours.
- Nothing warm is supplied, and the rim is often below freezing before dawn, so bring layers: long pants, a warm jacket, a hat, gloves, and closed shoes with socks.
- Tours run rain or shine with no refunds for bad weather, and no one can guarantee a clear sunrise. Cancellation is free up to 2 days before; if the forecast looks poor 48 hours out, Skyline asks you to reschedule.
- No scuba diving in the 24 hours before, by Skyline's own rule. The park asks pregnant women and people with heart or breathing conditions to see a doctor first. Bring a child seat for children under 4.
