Maui: Guided Hike of Haleakala Crater with Lunch

Before you book
- Meet at the junction of highways 311 and 380, just before Kahului; there is no hotel pickup. The listing does not say whether the park entrance fee is included, so ask the operator.
- Two 2-mile hikes, one in the summit area and one at about 8,000 ft. Trails at this altitude are strenuous, and one reviewer found it a very difficult hike for older or less athletic walkers.
- Ages 8 and up; not suitable for people with mobility impairments. The park asks pregnant women and people with heart or breathing conditions to see a doctor before hiking in the summit area.
- Tours run in most weather, and cloud can fill the crater, so no one can guarantee the view. Cancellation is free up to 2 days before.
